Full Review
A staff member of Centennial Park Cycles in Randwick commented that this Moshan MT 3000 21 speed dual suspension bicycle is made up of un-matching parts and the breaks are plastic both at the handle and at the wheel, making them unreliable and therefore potentially dangerous.

He commented that if a bicycle like this came into stock, they would cut it in half to prevent it being accidentally sold.

He also said the bicycle would not last very long and he was right - one of the pedals broke off the second time it was ridden.

After numerous complaints, one exchange and much effort assembling and dismantling this product to be returned to Deals Direct, a refund was eventually provided. However I find it very disappointing that Deals Direct continues to supply merchandise of this quality to the public.

I believe Deals Firect owes a duty to its customers to withdraw this and all similar bicycles from sale.

I bought a similar bicycle (MT1800) from DealsDirect and have ridden it for a while, and I'm still alive to tell the tale. (My brakes are metal at the wheel, though not at the handlebar.) Is it any worse than any 'department store' bike? Should they all be withdrawn from sale? (My brother-in-law once had a department store bike that broke in half while he was riding it.) Is this a question of expensive bike dealers fearing loss of custom? Fear of competition from China? I don't pretend to have the answers to these questions but I do know that many people cannot afford to spend 1000s on a new bike.
