The Mju 790 SW has the qualification of being the perfect travel mate as it comes in a sleek body and is both waterproof as well as shock proof. So if you are looking for a very portable camera which can withstand some turbulent weather, then my suggestion would be to opt for the Mju 790. The fact that is comes in attractive colors is also worth mentioning. It is the pricing front, which might make you grimace a bit but then that is the price you have to pay for a well-fortified camera which does a good job.

The 7.1 megapixel capacity might not be considered great in the days when 10 megapixel cameras are common place but it is good enough for amateur photographers. The Mju 790 is mostly automatic and since it is designed as a travel camera, it offers limited yet useful controls which help you get the most out of the moment. A quick set of test snaps show that the color and sharpness are way ahead of expectation and though low lighting images are still not the best, they still manage to pass muster. My recommendation would be to buy this Mju 790 as it is a camera which is well worth the moolah you spend on it.
