Does the smart thing…buy a Brother printer

Strengths: Multiple connectivity options, good print quality and reasonably priced.

Weaknesses: Paper tray is not very large and full color printouts may take some time

Brother printers have always had a good review and as I tried out the 4040CN Color Laser Printer, I must say I was quite pleased with the quality and functionality of the printer. Though it is a bit slow in places where the printout is required in full color, it is the same case in almost all printers. The 4040CN from Brother allows to connect to it in more ways than one…you can connect via a flash drive and if that is not enough, you can also connect the camera directly.

There is no reason to complain about the quality of the printouts since it pretty much manages to meet expectation. In fact the color part of the printouts is also pretty good and suitable for corporate presentations. Though the printer is small in size, it surpasses on the quality front and also offers networking capabilities to suit most offices. With these added benefits, the Brother HL 4040CN is a good buy and comes highly recommended.

Technically there is something called Duplexer which is not present in the 4040CN but it does not really make a lot of difference since it is not required by everyone. The paper tray is a bit limiting but that does not matter in a small workgroup. Reasonably priced, the 4040CN is also a decent looking printer and my personal recommendation is to go ahead and buy it….it is well worth the price tag.
