Strengths: 256Mb of memory gives up to 66 hours of dictation. A very nice high sensitivity detachable stereo mic. Built-in variable control voice actuator. Timer recording. Low cut filter to minimise background noises while recording.
Weaknesses: Battery powered and AC power supply not included. Look for the Olympus 3V AC power supply, a worthwhile optional extra.
