I have a Brother MFC-240C printer

I want to economise on the four cartridges, one black, cyan,blue and yellow. I only have black ink and the rest colored are empty.
I only want to print in black all my documents. However I have problem with the printer always reporting catridges are empty and the printer refuses to print even in black.

Must I have all the four ink cartridges full before printing?

Please help!

Hi

If you want to print only in black - try to use "Print" > "Properties"> "Print setting" > "Color Setting"

Or ask "Brother Product Support Centre"
