Hi Donny, Can you give us the error number you are getting here? These error numbers can be looked up in the manual or the online help web sites and some DIY help might be available on it. try switching off the entire unit and leaving it off for a couple of hours and then restarting. It might work as sometimes many electrical equipment tends to be weird due to some basic electricity issue. If this does not work, I think you should try and get a technician to look at it.

My machine is the same model as yours and is doing exactly the same thing. I just rang for a service and described the problem and the guys said that it sounds like it might be a valve problem. I have no idea what that means or how to fix it but it might give you something else to go on.

Hi Star88, Just curious, did you happen to clean the filter in the front of the machine just before it started playing up????

disregard last post, i have an advancement...but not much of one. ok, so i've pulled the pump apart, cleaned it, put it back in and no change, still broken. I was only using cold water so i thought maybe it was the solinoid so i disconnected the cold water inlet and put the hot water inlet on the cold tap so that the machine thought it was being fed hot water. still broken. so therefore this only leaves the electronic control panel. one thing i have noticed is that the machine doesn't stop filling. there would have to be a water shut off valve and after reading star88's post, i'm guessing that it may well be that........

but where is it, and how do you test it?????

i fixed it and at no cost...well almost, lol. after hours of googling and patience, it came down to the pressure switch, which i found to be working after pulling if off. so therefore it had to be the hose or air chamber that activates it. and sure enough, something was blocking the air chamber. so by blowing into the hose at the pressure switch end i heard whatever it is move and now the machine is working!!!! just got to work out how to get the air chamber off and remove the thing blocking it, but untill i do at that the machine can be used.

I have the same problem, too .. when ever it come to the Drain/Spin it stop then the O & spin speed 0 & 100 flashing. Then I have manually turn the knob to Drain/Spin to finish the washing cycle.
THANKS ALOTS Donny – I just fixed my Whirlpool AWM8121 using your Method …
All I did is open the Top cover (only 2 screws from the back… Remove the Pressure Switch (little Red color thing) … Check it with digital Meter (it works) … Then use the handheld Blower ( you can use your Mouth to blow if you can reach it !  )-> blow the hose which come out from the tube to the Pressure Switch. It’s working again … .
This is the photo of the pressure switch form my Whirlpool AWM8121 =>
