Hi, Have you considered shutting down the entire system, leaving it off for a couple of hours and then restarting it? I know this sounds rudimentary but works most of the times so should work now as well. Feature list of the projection television can be found at www.myshopping.com.au/SP--104803_LG_56DC1D_138cm_56_DLP_Rear_Projection_TV . If my suggestions does not still sort your problem, then you should try and call in a technician to sort it out for you as I know that the light can be irritating to see (alternatively, just put a small black tape there!).

With the TV ON press the Mute Button on the Remote and the OK/Enter Button on the TV's front panel for 5 seconds.
This will bring up the Lamp Reset Menu. Press OK or the Play Button to reset the Hours. The Orange Light should go out.
