Hi, there should be a display button on remote which should remove this timestamp display from the screen. I have a Sony Bravia and it does so on my system so I see no reason why it should not work on your model as well. Otherwise, check the option of setting up time or setting up recording in your manual and I think you will get the option of how to remove this time stamp from there as well. Let me know if these tips help.....otherwise we can check out an online manual with a fine comb.

hi, thanks for your tips. i dont think i have a display button on my remote. however, i have removed the time stamp by pressing "i+" button. i think that the time stamp is part of the additional information.

anyway, thank you so much for your help.

i have asked other questions in separated postings. please see if you can help on those ones.

cheers.
