My turbo head does not spin

I have cleaned filters and head, and will still not spin, bought end of Nov 08 and have only been using since Jan 09

Hi Belinda, you Dyson cleaner is still under warranty so I suggest you just return this to the retailer you bought it from and request a refund/exchange. In fact if you can exchange it for another brand, I would suggest you do so since Dyson is not one of the best vacuum cleaners to have anyways. There is a long list of vacuum cleaners which you can check out at www.myshopping.com.au/PT--297_Vacuum_Cleaners and check out customer reviews as well in order to get an idea about the product's performance even before you buy it.

Hi Belinda, best thing to do is to call Dyson on 1800 239 766 (the sticker is also on your machine) they have the best after sales service and can help you easily solve your problem - open 7 days a week it's great to be able to talk to someone who knows exactly which machine i have. just have your serial number ready when you call. the store to which you have purchased the machine from will direct you back to Dyson. check to make sure the plunger on the side of the turbine head is pulled 'out' if it's pushed in, the brushbar will not spin. if this doesn't work, then you will get a replacement turbine head. i found Dyson to provide the best after sales help ever and would recommend them to all my family & friends
