Hi there, I am wondering what happens when the maps become out of date?, does the G.P.S. stop working all together, ? Hope you can help . Thanks Paul..

Hi Pablo, Its a long shot but what you say is possible theoritically but not practically. Firstly, not many new roads are discovered or added in the urban regions....so at the most you get the additions of by lanes and slip roads and change of direction. Secondly, GPS companies are quick on map upgrades since it acts as a major source of revenue for them. In fact, I think once everyone has a GPS unit (or most people atleast), it will be maps and added features on the maps which will act as a revenue model for companies.
