tv goes into factory mode after 15 seconds don't have a manual please help

Hi there, When did you purchase this television? Though there is no soft copy of the user manual available, you can take a look at www.myshopping.com.au/SP--118945_NU_TEC_NTV_1460_14_TV_DVD_Combo to get an idea of all the features it has and try and trial and error method to get it going. I am not sure if there is one, but you can call the NU TEC help desk and check with them regarding this factory mode as it seems quite unusual until and unless there is some mix-up in the settings and can only be corrected with technical help. Alternatively, you can ask for a replacement if it is a fairly new purchase and that should get their attention to help you solve the problem.

Does anyone have a good experience with the Nu-Tec televisions? All I see are complaints about the television or the fact that it does not work very well, or the remote control is not working! I think Nu-Tec is a bad buy and anyone looking for a good telly should avoid this brand. In fact, there are so many brands available to choose from at www.myshopping.com.au/PT--99_Television_TV that I can easily skip Nu-Tec and get a good product at a reasonable price tag and atleast one that works properly for some time! I think a Sony or an LG are one of the better brands to buy...after all, you do not buy a television every day!
