Apart from the pricing, the overall style of the two phones are also quite different with the non-3G one built in the candy-bar design and the 3G enabled one looking more like the iPhone. So to answer your question, you can go ahead with the Nokia N95 with 3G featured at www.myshopping.com.au/SP--207827_Nokia_N95_8GB_Mobile_Phone . The phone also has enhanced display and an awesome memory capacity which can make you use your mobile phone as a storage device....literally. Overall, the new Nokia N95 is an excellent phone to work with and is likely to help you boost your productivty to a large extent.

What are you talking about Julianne ??????,
The look and design of the phones are exactly the same ( not different in any way at all !!!!! ). The Nokia N95 ( Next G and non Next G ) is a slider design phone , not a candy bar design , so I think you have your wires crossed completely.

The real answer to your question Agdave is that the Next g version can operate on the 850MHZ frequency used by the Telstraq Next G service, whereas the Non Next G ( normal version ) can operate on the 3G/ 2100 mhz frequency used by Optus, 3 and Vodafone. So if you have to use Telstra Next G , you will need to buy the proper Next G ( 850mhz ) version but if you want to use any other carrier you can buy the basic version.

There are two models of the Nokia N95. The N95 8GB ( built in 8GB memory ) or the original Nokia N95 ( no built in memory ) and both have the Next G ( 850MHZ )variation avaiable.
