Hi Dan, The Mitac Mio A702 holds good reviews since it is a good PDA and a reasonable price... you can read the full review at
www.myshopping.com.au/RV--10387_Mitac_Mio_A702_GPS_PDA_Phone . As a Windows Mobile 6 mobile phone, the quadband Mitac Mio has lots going for it but unfortunately it is not 3G compatible and that is a real shame. The phone looks good, is priced right ( three cheers from all those who are opposing the $800 price tag of the iPhone but still want to buy an attractive phone) but the lack of 3G makes the phone quite unattractive to those looking for multiple connectivity options. Considering the fact that implementing 3G on phones is no longer rocket science, I am quite surprised to see that A702 is non-3G compliant. Also consider the fact that the phone is quite large ( brick is probably the correct term for it), 3G is sorely missed. However, leaving this small exclusion, the Mitac Mio A702 is a definite improvement over the A701 and can be a really good work horse in the long run. So go ahead and pick it up but dont excpect any 3G miracles soon.
