Can't set the correct resolution.

Hi , recently I built a new comp, m/b Gb EP35,4GBRam, use a Chimei 946D LCD max 1440 X 900 and has a DVi output, after installing GeForce 7200 GS 256 Mb PCI-e I couldnot get the desired resolution , the letters look very fuzzy ,have tried various resolutions and refresh rates nothing works.
Could you please advise if I am doing anything wrong? currently I am using an Radeon 128MB AGP card and I get 1440 *900 resolution. I have taken it back to the company I bought the card from and they tested and said there is nothing wrong with it . I am in desperate need for your help .

thanks

Hi,

What kind of Operating System do you use? Win XP or Vista?

Well, 1 - delete old driver, 2 - download new driver from Asus :
support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=EN7200%20Series
3 - install

next - try to use VGA (not DVI). Because we have some problems with DVi in that case (Asus 7200)

good luck

P.S. Mayuran, Asus 7200 is not a good choice for DVi

Hi,

thanks for that, I use Windows XP . I am not a heavy games person , just to do a little bit of graphics etc. What card do you suggest ? , I don't think I need a high end card .

regards
