How to Level

Category: Question about LG WD8015C 7 kg Front Load Washing Machine
Posted by: 11-Jun
My washing machine is about 5yrs old and we have never been able to get it to stay level. The legs it stands on constantly start unwinding the minute the washing machine starts to move. Now the machine in every wash takes a walk across my laundry floor, which is very frustrating. I have spent numerous times leveling it out but only seems to last a max of 5 washes. The machine sits on ceramic tiles which sit on a concret slab.

Your help and advice with this would be greatly appreciated, cos if i can't fix it it will be going.

Have you tried rubber washers to get more grip, or even rubber squares to put under the feet of the machine?

If the machine is sitting solid on the floor, ie it does not rock on diagonally opposed legs, you may have tight shock absorbers.
These are reletavly inexpensive to buy but are a little fiddely to fit. Sometimes relubing with Nulon L90 will help. Try to avoid doing small loads or mixed fabric weight loads.
