Hi Jimmy, I would recommend the 1GB + cards to anyone who is looking at a good, scalable option when it comes to graphic cards and your choice is only limited by the budget you have. A higher config graphics card results in better user experience and lets you play most of the games available online. You can check out the wide range of 1 GB cards at www.myshopping.com.au/PT--72_Graphics_Cards_1_Gb__fs_15550_e__?Find=graphics+cards . However, if you feel that 1GB is bit of an overkill, then you can check out the 512MB cards as well which might not be able to run the latest resource-hungry games but do manage to offer a fairly good experience. Many new computers, specially laptops are now coming equipped with graphics cards and thus you might want to check it out the next time you go out to put a new computer for yourself.

There are remarkable variety of graphic cards on the market today that aimed at gamers. I recommend Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX2. It is a dual GPU solution, effectively giving you an SLI system in a single convenient package.

the first thing you need to consider of buying a graphics card is how deep is your wallet( you money), latest graphics cards for extreme gamers is around 300$-700$. for average gamers you need to consider 8800 series because they are very cheap now but cant run on high setting in latest games
